Setting up an eSIM – how does it work?

We recommend that you complete the smartphone setup before setting up the eSIM

Open Settings – Network & internet – Mobile network – Add SIM card – Set up eSIM.
Scan the QR code you received from your network provider for the eSIM.
The eSIM will be transferred to your smartphone.

[i> You can set up one nano SIM card and one eSIM on your emporiaSMART.8.

[i> Please note that, depending on your network provider, you may not be able to migrate the eSIM to your next smartphone yourself, but will need assistance from your network provider.
