Free display replacement for SMART.8 / ME.8

A moment’s inattention is often all it takes: your smartphone slips out of your hand, falls to the ground, and the display is cracked. For owners of the new emporia SMART.8 and ME.8 smartphones, there’s now a special offer: emporia will replace your display free of charge.

If the display of your emporia SMART.8 or ME.8 has been damaged by an accidental drop, simply fill in the form below and upload your receipt or invoice. Once your claim has been successfully verified, we will repair the broken display free of charge.

Postage, labour and replacement parts are all included, so you don’t need to worry about any additional repair costs.

How the free screen replacement works

Simply fill in the form below in full and upload a valid proof of purchase. Please ensure that the purchase date is clearly visible on the receipt, as this date is crucial for verifying your eligibility for the promotion.

Once your details have been successfully verified, you will receive all further information on how to send in your device. The display of your emporia SMART.8 or emporia ME.8 will then be repaired professionally and free of charge.

The promotion is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase as shown on the proof of purchase and is aimed exclusively at end customers in Europe. Retailers are excluded from participation. Within this period, the free display replacement can be requested once per device.

The free display replacement applies only to display damage caused by an accidental incident, such as the smartphone being dropped unintentionally. Damage caused deliberately is excluded from the promotion.

emporia reserves the right to terminate the promotion early at any time. Applications already submitted will be assessed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the promotion that were valid at the time of submission.

Important note: Back up your data before sending in your device

Before you send your smartphone to us for repair or a screen replacement, we would like to draw your attention to an important point.

Please back up your personal data. As part of a repair or replacement, it may be technically necessary to reset the device to its factory settings. This will irrevocably delete all data stored on the device. This includes, amongst other things:

Contacts and calendar entries
Photos, videos and music
Messages (SMS, chat histories)
Apps and their stored data
Documents and notes
Account and login details

Please therefore create a complete backup of your data before sending the device in, and remove any SIM and memory cards. It is generally not possible to recover deleted data once the device has been serviced. Please refer to the relevant system settings for information on how to back up your data. We cannot accept any liability for the loss of data that has not been backed up beforehand.
