At emporia, we attach great importance to keeping our customers well informed. We want them to know exactly how our connected products work and what data is generated in the process.

The EU Data Regulation (Regulation EU 2023/2854) requires manufacturers to provide clear and understandable information before a purchase is made. We support this requirement because transparency creates trust. This allows you to make an informed purchasing decision.

The regulation applies to all products and services that generate or collect data. This applies to paid offers as well as free products or those included in the scope of delivery.

A key point is traceability. You should know what data a product collects, how you can access it, what format the data is in, where it is stored, and how long it is retained.
